Why is Lego still so popular?

By StevenGadson

For many years Lego has been an integral part of children’s toys boxes. However, more than a few parents have learned how painful it can be to step on a broken brick! Why has this simple toy survived so long?

Lego sets are available in many types today, not just the standard box of bricks. You can now get Star Wars sets or City sets. This is probably the reason why this toy has remained relevant.

Lego was created for the first time in 1949. The interlocking bricks that are now known as “Automatic Binding Bricks” were initially called “Automatic Binding Bricks”. They were limited in versatility and didn’t lock well together. In 1958, the modern brick design was created. The basic design of interlocking bricks has not changed since then.

Lego is more than 50 years old and has maintained its relevance by staying current with the times. Many sets on sale today are themed around movies like Star Wars and Batman. The little plastic bricks are still going to end up in the toy box as usual, but they will be part of an exciting, up-to-date action figure set.

The bricks can be used to make anything, unlike regular action figure sets. A Harry Potter figure can be discarded when Wizards become too trendy, but a Harry Potter Lego set could still be transformed into Power Rangers, Transformers or any other popular creations.

Most instructions for building the sets will be lost after the first build. The child’s imagination will begin to run wild and they may create their own spacecraft, robots and jet planes. The parents will be there to help with any construction projects, but they are waiting for the right opportunity.

Today Lego is a multibillion-dollar business that includes theme parks, retail stores and movies such as the Lego Batman Movie. This helps keep Lego’s building blocks relevant and current.

Lego is not a toy for boys or girls. This helps to keep it relevant. These little plastic blocks can be used as a dollhouse, fortress, or tank. They are also durable, so you can pass them down from one generation to another.

You can spend hours crafting a masterpiece, then smash it up to start over. You don’t have to mess with glue or paint, and each part can be used in another model.
